If you have been looking for driving schools in Weston super mare, Clevedon or the surrounding areas then you will know that you are faced with a myriad of choice. Where do you start?
Well, first of all you need to decide how you want to structure your driving lessons. The most popular way is to take weekly lessons and pace yourself, aiming to take your test after around 4 or 5 months of practice. Two hour lessons are best, you learn more and will probably spend less.
If you are in a hurry, maybe you have found a new job that relies on you having a driving licence, then an intensive course may be more suitable. This could mean anything from taking 2 lessons per week and planning to take your test after a couple of months to cramming all your lessons into a 2 or 3 week period. If you decide on this kind of intensive course then bear in mind that ideally you will already have passed your theory test and booked your practical test so you can take it at the end of the course.
After deciding what kind of course you want to take you will want to know how flexible your driving instructor can be. Will they pick you up from or drop you off at home, work, college or maybe even a friends house? Can they do weekends and evenings?
You will also want to know if they have a good track record. How long have they been a driving instructor for? What do their former learners say about them? Did they enjoy their experience of driving lessons?
Finally you will want to know if your driving instructor will help you with your theory test and if so then is that included in the price or extra.
